News from All Seasons
June
2007
This
month we welcomed former Australian superbike champion Aaron Slight and
his family on a break to Louth and we've had quite a number of guests on
holiday from Holland, Belgium and a few from
Canada.
We're
delighted that All Seasons has been selected for the finals as The
Future Winning Business in Lincolnshire for 2007, check back here
later to see how we get on, the final is on 12th July 2007 at Lincoln
University.
Our garden is looking great
despite lots of recent rain and
we've got a big crop of cherries, strawberries, tomato plants and marrows intermixed
amongst the roses and geraniums. The
weather forecast for July and August looks promising so let's hope
2007 ends up a scorcher, remember the one we had in 1976?....
May 2007
Having been featured in
the Dutch magazine Woon, we have now received 100s of enquiries from
Netherlands and Belgium - so much so that we've set up a web page as a one
stop shop to England. Our
online booking system is proving very popular and we're picking up plenty
of bookings from last minute to long range which is keeping us busy.
We've attended a number of meetings including one to improve the quality
of accommodation in the area (Rosebud) and helped organise a new tourism
group in Lincolnshire.
April
2007
On St
Georges day April 23rd it actually got to 24 degrees centigrade -
fantastic, we had a whole week of summer weather albeit 2 months early and
then it poured down! Gave
a presentation to the Louth Civic trust on the restoration work we did
when we converted the properties all those years ago - It was a great
evening and gave us a chance to meet others interested in restoration and
Georgian properties.
That's
the news so far, come back next month for more or subscribe to my
newsletter - Kind Regards Adrian
